Just found this in Creole on a missionary's blog. (Creole is the language most people in Haiti speak.) Short and a bit sad but true.
Lord,
If we are alive today in spite of
hurricanes, hunger and sickness,
we should say,
Thank you, Lord.
We must be here for a purpose.
