Adoption Update-Kenson
It sounds like one of the things we have been waiting for to happen in the visa process is now scheduled to happen. US Customs and Immigration requires that all birth parents come in and be interviewed by the US government in order for a visa to be issued. This is part of the reason we went to Haiti over the summer: to get this step in the process rolling. Anyway, the interview with Kenson's birthmom has been scheduled for September 29. We'll keep you posted if we find out any more information. It helps the wait when you feel like you are making progress; the worst parts are when you feel time slipping by with no signs of progress or when you feel like things are actually going backwards.
