Kenson fell in love with a book from our library, Even Firefighters Hug their Moms. It's about a little boy who plays all sorts of pretend things like EMT, firefighter, and police officer but is always too busy playing to hug his mom. On every page, the little boy is engrossed in pretend play, using household objects to play with. Kenson took all sorts of inspiration from the pages of this book, including the need for a rocket ship. So a rocket ship we made. Both he and Conleigh have loved it
