A dear friend of mine here from our church just came home with two sweet children from Rwanda. Between her family and all the haitian adoption blogs I'm still reading up on (like yours!) I **really** want to do a little girls' hair :) I have my own little girls, but I want the puffs. My husband actually caught me googling "little black girl hairstyles" last night. LOL :) I love the free, natural pigtails if the hair is long enough to all fit in. Did you do those flat braids yourself?? And the pie part??

Yes all of my kids hair is done by me. Flat twists are really just like doing a french braid but with two strands instead of three.
You really do such a great job with the hair!
could you please post the products that you use?
I feel like I'm floundering in the product department. I know he needs a daily moisturizer, he's so dry. But, what to use?
The hair looks GREAT, btw.
Their hair looks great!
