No sub calls this week or last so I decided to get some things ready for the Junk Jaunt, a 300 plus mile garage sale along Nebraska's highway 92. Last year, my aunt made a few goodies like cookies and jelly but she's not doing it this year. I had some produce I needed to use and cookies are always easy. In the last two days, I've made Autumn Cran-Pear Jelly, Apple Preserves, Watermelon Jelly, Maple Nut Scones, Pumpkin Spice Scones, Peanut Butter Cookies with Honey, Gingersnaps, and Fall Vanilla Cookies with Chocolate Frosting. I think I'm going to make some Cranberry Scones too. I already have Strawberry Cranberry Jam and some Jalepeno Cucumber Relish made so I'm going to take a few jars of those things. Can you say "Yummo?"
